Crazy Daisy Squares Totebag

Submitted on Tue, 01/09/2024 - 03:48

I adore a good-sized tote bag and enjoy making granny squares, especially in the warmer months, especially when you want to crochet but need some lightweight items to make.
My love for the variations of the African flower crochet with their multi-colored stripes makes quick work of all those leftover blanket scraps.

I adore a good-sized tote bag and enjoy making granny squares, especially in the warmer months, especially when you want to crochet but need some lightweight items to make.
My love for the variations of the African flower crochet with their multi-colored stripes makes quick work of all those leftover blanket scraps.

The humble African daisy square wraps around a larger Crazy Daisy center flower square. The construction is pretty easy and consists of making ten small squares and two large squares. These squares are then joined together.

The crazy daisy tote bag pattern is made out of two-sized flower crochet squares and patchworked together to create a large-size tote bag with straps. This large-sized bag is a great addition and makes a great beach or shopper bag. Strong crochet bags make great gifts for teachers, friends moms, and nurses. Why not make a bookbag for a student going to college or university?
The downloadable pattern includes per-row photos alongside detailed instructions and makes this an easy pattern for any level crocheter. Finishing the bag and resizing the straps is super easy and instructions are included in the pattern.
