Corner to Corner (C2C)

To crochet a Corner to Corner (C2C) project, you'll increase a square ( also referred to as blocks)

in each row by chaining 3, work 3 double crochet sts in the chain space, and slip stitching to the next block.

1. Starting a C2C Project (Increase)

Ch 3: Chain 3 stitches.

3 Double Crochets ( 3dc ) : Work 3 double crochets into the same chain space.

Slip Stitch (sl st) : Slip stitch into the top of the next block.

Repeat: Repeat the previous steps (Ch 3, 3 dc, sl st) across the row.

2. Increasing Rows:

Ch 3 : Chain 3 stitches.

3 dc : Work 3 double crochet sts into the chain space.

Sl st: Slip stitch into the top of the next block.

Repeat: Repeat the previous steps (Ch 3, 3 dc, sl st) across the row.

Turn: Turn your work and repeat the process for the next row, adding a new block on each side.

3. Decreasing Rows:

Turn : Turn your work to the left, so the working yarn is in front of the stitches.

Slip stitch : Slip stitch up the side of the block.

Ch 3 : Chain 3 stitches.

3 dc : Work 3 double crochet sts in the chain space.

Sl st : Slip stitch into the top of the next block.

Repeat: Repeat the previous steps (Ch 3, 3 dc, sl st) across the row.

Turn : Turn your work and repeat the process for the next row, decreasing one block on each side
