Happy Jack-O-Lantern Witches Crochet Hat, make Halloween amusing with this easy-to-make witch hat.

Small crochet squares join to make the side panel of the hat. Please take note of the rounds worked on the top and bottom of the side panel of the hat. The crown of the hat works as a separate panel and is joined to the side panel of the hat. The rim is then joined to the bottom side panel of the hat.

Pattern Notes
Difficulty level: Intermediate
Skills required: Understand working in the round, and have knowledge of the stitches mentioned in the abbreviation list.

Techniques used : 

Work in the round, keep track of your stitch counts per round, ensure that the final count around your small squares are all the same.

Pattern size is based on working with a 3.5mm crochet hook and double knit cotton yarn, please note that using a smaller or bigger crochet hook, will change the final size of your crochet hat.
 

Yarn weight: DK in a Crochet hook size: 3.5mm

Yarn requirements 
Yarn length required: 500m / 546 yards
Skeins and colors used for hat :

4 x Balls: Purple and 1 x Ball: Oranje
Yarn length per skein: 100m / 109 yards

Double knit craft cotton in colors : 
Purple  (400 m / 437 yards)
Orange ( 100 m / 110 yards )
Black ( small amount for eyes and mouth )
Lime ( small amount for stems )

Hat side length : 4.75 inches / 12 cm
Hat brim length : 14.5 inches / 37 cm
Hat laid flat : Top to bottom : 18.5 inches / 46 cm
The pattern is written in US terminology English.

The pattern in worked as follow 
Small crochet squares join to make the side panel of the hat. Please take note of rounds worked on top and bottom of the side panel of the hat.
The Crown of the hat is worked as a separate panel and joined to the side panel of the hat.
The rim is then joined to the bottom side panel of the hat.

Rows and Rounds : 
The turning chain counts as a base stitch for the next round,
If working in rounds do not turn at the end of each round or work with RS * right side facing front.

Join small crochet squares to make hat side band

Join 5 squares, by placing two squares on top of one another with the right sides facing inwards. 

Join squares by working one single crochet stitch into each stitch per side.

Do this for all 5 squares, to create the side panel of the crochet bucket hat.

Working on the top of the joined squares, use the same color yarn as the square of round 5 for the final round of the small square. Join new color in any hdc stitch,
