This striped crochet poncho pattern is great for trying out a mix of new crochet stitches,in an easy to follow, quick to make poncho. Inspired by the bold and bright colors of bohemian patterns and textures, the mixture of patterns between rows bring strong accents to shabby chic.
The finished poncho is lightweight and flowy and provides warmth in the colder months while remaining breathable and comfortable for daily wear.

Easy steps for completing this poncho
A : Follow first set of written crochet instructions marked as Pattern instructions (A)
This will make a flat large rectangle,
(See sizing chart for your sizing requirements.)
A(a) : Longest length of the rectangle
A(b) : Shortest length of the rectangle side
B : Ones the panel is complete you can determine the neck width, by folding panel A in half, deduct the neck with from the center of rectangle A, you will continue working on the side marked B(a).
You have the choice to join the two ends as shown in D(a) in the image below, and then continue with the next set of instructions, which I personally recommend or you can simply continue to work along side B(b and join the poncho at the end.)
C : Follow first set of written crochet instructions marked as Pattern instructions (B), this will form the adjacent shoulder to complete the poncho.
D : Once sections A and C incomplete you can join panels as indicated in D(b)
E : Shows the panels once the sections has been completed and you are ready to add the fridge, the fringe is not a requirement but adds some additional bohemian flair to the finished poncho.
Finished size of example poncho : 120 x 120 cm
