This mini gift basket is so adorable and easy to make that it'll be done in no time at all! We used our favorite yarn, but feel free to use whatever yarn you like best.
We used a 3.5mm hook and a simple front post double crochet stitch throughout this pattern but if you want your basket even smaller than this one then feel free to go down a hook size or two.

Completing each basket involves two sections, making the basket and then the handle. The written instructions start with the basket and follow with the handle instructions, the basket is completed by joining the handle to the basket rim using a yarn needle and leftover yarn. Optional instructions are included for a simple finishing border that can be added if you wish to have extra detail on your basket.
Finally, working in the ends will complete the construction process, with this simple technique, you can create beautiful pieces of art that will last for a long time. Any yarn type can be used for this project like cotton, bamboo, hemp, or acrylic.

Glossary, References, Techniques
This pattern is written and charted using standard US crochet terminology.
Techniques used:
The pattern starts off with a magic ring and is worked in the round, in general, chain 1 is required after completing a round, when using the same yarn and color for the next round, if it is your choice to change color, then in general, you would join with a slip stitch on top of starting chain stitch after the last stitch is worked for the round. Working in ends as you go is my best practice, but it's all up to you and your choice when completing a project.
