Crochet Small Party Themed Mini Baslket

Completing each basket involves two sections: making the basket and then the handle.

Introduction

Who doesn't love a good party? Especially when that party includes treats, and especially when those treats are kept in an adorable little basket like this one. This project is perfect for the crafter who needs to get organized, or for the hostess who wants to look cute while serving her guests. And it comes with instructions on how to make it as large or small as you want!

The written instructions start with the basket and follow with the handle instructions, the basket is completed by joining the handle to the basket rim using a yarn needle and leftover yarn.
Optional instructions are included for a simple finishing border that can be added if you wish to have extra detail on your basket.

Finally, working in the ends will complete the construction process, with this simple technique, you can create beautiful pieces of art that will last for a long time.
Any yarn type can be used for this project like cotton, bamboo, hemp or acrylic.

The list of yarns used in the sample is listed under the material section.

Color Indication

Color choice is completely up to you, the written pattern does indicate where color changes happen but does not specifically initiate a color.

Glossary, References, Techniques

This pattern is written and charted using standard US crochet terminology.

Techniques used:
The pattern starts off with a magic ring and is worked in the round,
in general, chain 1 is required after completing a round, when using the same yarn and color for the next round,
if it is your choice to change color, then in general, you would join with a slip stitch on top of starting chain stitch after the last stitch is worked for the round.

Working in ends as you go is my best practice, but it's all up to you and your choice when completing a project.
