This Refund / Digital Download Policy explains how refunds, returns, digital delivery, and download-related issues are handled for purchases made through stouto.co.za.
1. Digital Products
The products sold through this website are primarily digital products, including crochet pattern PDFs, downloadable files, and other digital crochet-related content.
2. No Returns on Digital Downloads
Because digital products are delivered electronically and cannot be physically returned, all sales of digital downloads are generally considered final.
Once a digital crochet pattern or downloadable file has been successfully delivered, accessed, or downloaded, it is generally not eligible for return or refund, unless otherwise required by law.
3. Refunds May Be Considered In Limited Situations
Refunds may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis in situations such as:
- Accidental duplicate purchases of the same item
- A confirmed technical issue preventing access to the purchased file
- A corrupted, incomplete, or missing file that cannot reasonably be fixed or replaced
- A billing error or incorrect charge
Refunds are not automatically guaranteed and may be declined where the digital product has already been successfully delivered and accessed without a technical fault.

If you experience any issue with your order, file, download, or access, please contact us before requesting a chargeback or payment dispute.
In many cases, download issues can be resolved quickly by resending the file, confirming the purchase, or helping you access the correct pattern.
5. Download and Access Responsibility
It is the customer’s responsibility to:
- Provide a valid email address at checkout
- Check spam, promotions, or junk folders if order emails are not received
- Download and save purchased files after delivery where applicable
- Ensure that their device can open standard file formats such as PDF
6. Pattern Content and Expectations
Please read product descriptions carefully before purchasing.
Refunds will generally not be provided simply because:
- You changed your mind after purchase
- You expected a physical product instead of a digital download
- You did not read the product description fully
- You are unfamiliar with the skill level, crochet terminology, or techniques used in the pattern
- You no longer wish to complete the project

If you are having difficulty understanding a purchased pattern or need clarification, you are welcome to contact us. We will do our best to assist with reasonable pattern support where possible.
8. Unauthorized Sharing or Abuse
Refunds may be refused where there is evidence of file sharing, redistribution, misuse, chargeback abuse, or other activity that violates our Terms & Conditions.
