About This Pattern

Construction overview
The pattern in worked as follow :
Small crochet squares join to make the side panel of the hat. Please take note of rounds worked on top and bottom of the side panel of the hat. The Crown of the hat is worked as a separate panel and joined to the side panel of the hat. The rim is then joined to the bottom side panel of the hat.
Rows and Rounds :
The turning chain counts as a base stitch for the next round,
If working in rounds do not turn at the end of each round or work with RS * right side facing front.

For a wider hat , you can resize the side panel of the hat by adding another row after, round 5 to the small crochet squares, see pattern instruction note.
