  • Hook: 3.5 mm crochet hook
  • Yarn: DK (Double Knit) cotton yarn
  • Other Notions
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors
  • Stitch markers (optional)

Color Notes

This square works beautifully with:

  • Bold contrasting shades
  • Soft harmonious palettes
  • Scrap yarn combinations

For best results, keep yarn weight consistent across all rounds.

Yarn Estimate (Per Square) : Approx. 150–180 m of DK yarn

Actual usage depends on:

  • Number of color changes
  • Stitch tension
  • Border choices
  • Managing Yarn Ends

Flower squares typically involve multiple color changes.

Helpful tips:

  • Weave ends in as you go
  • Leave slightly longer tails
  • Secure neatly under stitches
  • Pull cotton tails snugly

Staying on top of ends prevents a large finishing workload later.
