- Small crochet squares join to make the side panel of the hat. Please take note of rounds worked on top and bottom of the side panel of the hat.
- The Crown of the hat is worked as a separate panel and joined to the side panel of the hat.
- The rim is then joined to the bottom side panel of the hat.

The turning chain counts as a base stitch for the next round.

Join 5 squares, by placing two squares on top of one another with the right sides facing inwards.
Join squares by working one single crochet stitch into each stitch per side.
Do this for all 5 squares, to create the side panel of the crochet bucket hat.

Join the crown to the sides of the 4th of July Crochet Bucket hat
Turn the side panel of the hat inside out.
Turn the top crown panel WS front.
Join the two panels wrong side facing out with a half double crochet stitch into each of the stitches of the crown and the side panel. Turn hat right side front and make the rim.
