Types of yarn and yarn weight for large crochet squares
It is important to consider the types of fiber content of your yarn when making crochet flower squares, double knit weight yarn also known as Category 3 yarn, or worsted weight yarn, also known as Category 4 yarn is a popular weight for large crochet squares, I always prefer a cotton or cotton blend, but that is a personal preference, the type of yarn also needs to consider of the kind of project you will be using the completed crochet flower square for, for instance, if you have a blanket in mind, then use some soft acrylic yarn, and if you want to turn this pretty little squares in a bag or pillow case, then perhaps consider mercerized cotton, or craft cotton yarn.
What can I make with Large flower crochet squares?
Well the possibilities are endless, first to mind of course is a flower crochet blanket, but there are so many options to reuse a pretty crochet flower square, like making some pretty throw pillows, making fun crochet tote bags, or working them into a cardigan, or even a pretty crop top, the possibilities are endless.
