Pattern Instructions
Construction Overview
Quick Guide: How to Crochet a Corner-to-Corner (C2C) Square
Corner-to-Corner crochet is worked diagonally from one corner to the opposite corner using small double crochet blocks.
Step 1 – Make the First Block
Chain six and work one double crochet into the fourth chain from the hook, followed by one double crochet into each remaining chain.
Step 2 – Increase
Increase one block at the start of every row until your square reaches **25 × 25 blocks**.
Step 3 – Follow the Graph
Use the colour graph together with the written instructions to complete the panda design.
Step 4 – Decrease
Once the widest point has been reached, decrease one block at the beginning of every row until the square is complete.
Step 5 – Finish
Fasten off, weave in all yarn ends and block the square before joining it to your blanket.
